Pastor Michael and Crystal Edgar

Pastor Michael Edgar and his wife, Crystal, have been together for nearly 20 years and are the proud parents of twin sons, Cameron and Brayden, and their youngest son, Donovan. Their heart for United One Church begins with their love for Jesus and a desire to help people find a church family where they can grow in faith and build meaningful relationships.

Michael has been preaching for 15 years and is currently pursuing his master’s degree through Gateway Seminary. His ministry journey includes serving under his mentor, Pastor Melvin Collins, at Faith Community Baptist Church and later serving as Executive Pastor at Rise Church. Today, he leads the replant of Faith Community Baptist Church as United One Church, carrying forward a commitment to biblical preaching, discipleship, and unity in Christ.

United One’s vision is deeply personal to the Edgar family. As a multiracial family, they understand the importance of relationships that reach across racial and cultural differences. Rooted in Jesus’ prayer in John 17:20–21, their desire is to see believers united through Christ and grounded in God’s Word—a church whose love for one another points people to Jesus.

Outside of ministry, the Edgars treasure time together. They enjoy regular trips to San Diego and Anaheim, share a love for basketball and football, and encourage Cameron and Brayden’s interests in technology and robotics. Michael and Crystal also own The Mug, a local coffee shop where they enjoy meeting new people and spending time with their regular customers.
